The Fine Arts Learning List Program includes three functions; Fine Arts Learning List Presenter, Fine Arts Learning List Definer and Fine Arts Learning List Highlighter, which the fine arts learners, teachers and interested people can encounter the most important fine arts words ranked in order of frequency in authentic English, can find definitions of the words in the fine arts learning list and can study the words in context.
The words in the fine arts learning list are the results of analyzing four corpora; 2-painting, 3-sculpture, graphic art and fine arts, which 1,058,369 words are complied.
The Fine arts Learning List Presenter was created to reveal all fine arts words found from the fine arts corpus-based study. This function includes four sublists, fine arts, 2-painting, 3-sculpture and graphic art. They are highly recommended for fine arts students who try to study technical words ranked in order of frequency in authentic English.
The Fine Arts Learning List Definer was created to provide all words from fine arts learning lists with their meanings. Their families and parts of speech will be exhibited when you point or click the word. This function is useful for the fine arts learners to find some fine arts definitions and to try learning some words from the list.
The Fine Arts Learning List Highlighter was created to help fine arts learners improve their comprehension of fine arts vocabulary in the fine arts learning list through reading. It is beneficial for the fine arts learners to study the words in context, so that they understand how those words are used. It is also useful for fine arts and English teachers to develop teaching materials which focus on fine arts vocabulary. The learner and teacher can type or paste the selected text into the provided space and click the submit button. The text is returned as a new page with words from the fine arts learning list highlighted in different color according to the subject areas.
